Erin Fogg has more than a decade of experience working with nonprofits, foundations, government agencies, political candidates and elected officials. Erin is the Founder and Principal of Spoke Consulting, a full-service strategic communications firm dedicated exclusively to serving nonprofits and social entrepreneurs.
Prior to founding Spoke Consulting, Erin was the vice president and highest producing consultant at a boutique strategic communications firm in Marin County. Before making the shift to consulting, Erin served as a legislative assistant to Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA 29). On the Hill, she conducted research, made policy recommendations, crafted talking points, met with lobbyists and members of constituent groups, drafted legislation and correspondence, collaborated with other congressional offices, and assisted in coordinating the Congressman’s participation in the 2004 Democratic National Convention (where she caught the media relations bug working the press for her boss). Following her stint on the Hill, Erin worked as a political research analyst, specializing in international affairs.
Erin graduated with high honors from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Minor in Spanish. She earned an MA in International Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, where she specialized in negotiations and conflict resolution.
