Black Thought Project | August 30

The Black Thought Project returns to the Oakland Museum of California for another interactive art experience that centers the Black experience on Friday, August 30th at 6pm. Learn more about the Black Thought Project here: https://www.blackthoughtproject.com/

OMCA’s Oak Street Plaza community chalkboard will be transformed into a place where Black people’s perspectives will be honored and protected. Black folx will be invited to share our thoughts about love, liberation and our dreams for ourselves and our community. The event will include live music, Off The Grid’s food trucks, and family activities. Join us as we create a sanctuary for Black thought.
